The impact of quantum computing could be enormous. Although truly large-scale quantum computers are still years away, it is important to start preparing now in terms of IT and security. It can take a long time to train enough personnel to deal with this new technology. Moreover, there is still a lot unclear about the most promising business cases, and the impact on society and business.
That’s why Quantum.Amsterdam, together with the Amsterdam Business School (part of the University of Amsterdam), organizes a new 2-day Masterclass Introduction to Quantum Computing. Throughout two afternoons, we prepare companies and governments for the quantum era by increasing knowledge and awareness about this fascinating technology and by helping to identify and validate high-impact use cases. Various experts, across the breadth of the field, will speak. In this way, the opportunities and threats that quantum technology brings for you and your company are addressed in all areas.
For whom?
The masterclass is designed for professionals in areas such as IT, security, optimization, machine learning and network technology. This includes:

No prior knowledge about math, physics or quantum computing is required. The masterclass is particularly well-suited for those involved in organisations and departments that rely heavily on ICT processes and well-optimised business operations.
